Mulletacious
It's a mostly 80s show after all, so let's have fun with the ancient computers, outfits, and the hairdos. Mac's hair probably won't be mentioned that often, since it's pretty much a mullet all the time and it'd get repetitive.
Subtext Central
It's there. I'll probably not spot all of it, since I'm not great at such things, but still. I'll be able to spot a fair bit of subtext and innuendo. Or simply things that were supposedly completely innocent but make me giggle anyway.
Mac Science
The nifty little things he builds to get him and whoever he's saving this episode out of shitty situations.
Group Hug
For the bits where people get hurt, people get sad and/or angsty, or where Mac or anyone else in the episode is being simply adorable. Stuff that makes me angry at the way people are treated, go "n'aww *glomps*", or "owwie", basically.
Reality Check
Do gunshot victims really die as quickly in the real world as they do on this show? Do spies, or whatever the hell Mac is, really tell anyone friendly-looking who asks about the supposedly top secret and politically sensitive thing he just did? Really?
It's quite possible TPTB were taking some liberties occationally, either due to lack of research or some rule or other, and even if it works within the show, it's fun to point it out.
Isms and issues
TPTB really tried to make Mac a Good Guy, what with the technical pacifism, no alcohol, and general politeness. Still, since TPTB aren't perfect by far, some less than optimal messages and stereotypes filter through. If I notice them, they will be mentioned in this bit. If you've noticed some, feel free to chime in.
